Our club is built to help you become great both on and off the mat.
It features a full-size Olympic wrestling mat, Olympic lifting area, strength and conditioning zone, cardio section, change rooms, sauna, member lounge, kitchen, and free Wi-Fi.
We also have a pro shop and a relaxed outdoor garden lounge
the perfect place to unwind and socialise after training.
From Humble Beginnings to National Dominance
Gladiator Wrestling Club was founded in 2015 by Australian Olympic Coach Alan Landy with one vision:
To create a training ground that builds more than just athletes — it builds warriors.
Starting with a single mat, a handful of eager students, and an unshakable belief in what was possible,
Gladiator quickly grew into a premier wrestling institution in Western Australia. The mission was clear:
“You get what you settle for.”
And we refused to settle for anything but excellence.

Milestones in the Arena

2015 – Club founded in Perth, WA. First training sessions held with just a few local wrestlers and a dream
to elevate WA wrestling. -
2018 – GWC (Gladiator Wrestling Competitions) launched — bringing structured, high-intensity interclub
events to WA. -
2019 – Club relocates to a larger facility in Embleton, reflecting rapid growth and community support.

2020 – Hosts the Scarborough Amphitheatre Beach Wrestling Event, taking wrestling to the public
stage in epic fashion. -
2020–2022 – Growth continues through resilience during global shutdowns. Gladiators train online, in
garages, and backyards — because the fire never dies. -
2023 – Gladiator athletes reach multiple national podiums, making the club a leader in youth and senior
development. -
2024–2025 – Becomes home of over 200 national champions and 50+ Oceania medalists.
